The weeds loved the COVID pause in stewardship events so we had our work cut out for us removing bindweed and Lapsana communis before it went to seed and spread dramatically. The easing of masking rules for fully vaccinated individuals allowed more smiles to be enjoyed all around. Cottonwood Corner’s native plantings are growing very nicely thanks to support from the Green Tukwila Partnership and the attention of many wonderful volunteers!
