Squad got back after it after the Omicron surge break in January. The unusually dry February has been friendly for stewardship and the day was very pleasant out weeding, planting and mulching.
We even transplanted some Oregon ash / Fraxinus latifolia that were too close together after a greater than expected survival rate! Riverton Creek still hosts a flow-meter for gathering data on water levels being used to daylight the creek further downstream near its confluence with the Duwamish River. Cottonwood Corner, supported by the Green Tukwila Partnership is coming along beautifully!
